The 23rd annual Newburyport Art Association Art Auction and Party will take place in the NAA galleries and under a spacious tent adjacent to the Sculpture Garden on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 5:30 – 10 pm. The NAA auction is the largest fundraiser of the year and has grown in popularity causing organizers to expand preparations and bidding options for this exciting annual event. The NAA auction is a wonderful opportunity to help support a critical organization that serves as the foundation and inspiration for Greater Newburyport’s passionate community of artists and art lovers. The 2024 NAA Art Auction features two additional pre-auction events that are both free and open to the public. The Auction Exhibition Opening Reception will take place on Friday, August 30th from 5 – 7 pm to preview auction artwork, meet the artists including featured artist Rick Hamilton who will have a solo show in the Hills Gallery. An NAA Special Event on Friday, September 13th from 5 – 7 pm will feature artist talks and refreshments.
The Newburyport Art Association art auction and party is a great way to discover beautiful local art. Plan your bids ahead of time by previewing artwork in advance. Visit the NAA to preview auction artwork in the NAA galleries from Friday, August 30th through Tuesday, September 17th, during regular business hours. From 5 pm on the 17th until the auction opens on Saturday the 21st, the NAA gallery exhibition will be closed in preparation for the auction. The NAA Auction is always an exciting evening and a wonderful opportunity to highlight the amazing artwork of the NAA artist members! The Silent Auction, featuring works of art and experience packages will take place from 5:30-7:15 along with the art preview for the live auction, live painting by artist, Alan Bull as well as cocktails and cuisine. The Live Auction, featuring works of art and the raffle drawing will take place from 7:30 – 10 and cocktails and dessert will be available during this time. The 2024 NAA Art Auction will feature more than 55 works of art between the silent and live auctions.

In addition to the 55 works of art being featured in the Silent and Live Auctions and the many experience packages, raffle tickets are available for purchase in person at the NAA, featuring a chance to win two tickets to the Boston Celtics at the Cross Insurance Boardroom. The raffle ticket drawing will done during the live auction.
