2026 Salisbury Beach Concerts and Fireworks
Every Saturday Night
Enjoy beautiful Salisbury Beach concerts and fireworks every Saturday night from 7:30 – 10:30 pm during the summer. The fireworks generally start at 10:15 pm and finish around 10:30 pm. There are also some additional beach concerts on Wednesdays and Fridays, but there are no fireworks on these nights.
Just a 10-15 minute drive from Newburyport, Salisbury Beach plays host to summer-long family fun. Most Saturday nights throughout the summer, experience live music, fireworks, as well as great food and street vendors. Join in on a fun summertime tradition!
If you are a Newburyport App or VIP Card holder, catch an early dinner at Capri Seaside Italian Grille and enjoy $5 off a dinner entree before you settle on the beach with your blanket and popcorn!

Plum Island Airport Managed by Plum Island Aerodrome
Do you know about the impressive history of the Plum Island Airport in Newbury? Many advances in aviation occurred on Plum Island. The first flying field in New England was built on Plum Island. The original runway over the sand dunes and marshes was made of wood!

US Coast Guard
As the the birthplace of the U.S. Coast Guard, our Newburyport Coast Guardsmen are responsible for some of the greatest rescues, with history dating back almost 200 years. Born Ready, through intense surf and heavy breaking seas, these men and women maintain and handle several sea going vessels including steel hull boats, a utility power boat and Boston Whalers.
